Research Associate (BS/MS): Younger Lab

About the Position

The Younger Lab is actively searching for a highly motivated Research Associate to assist with several ongoing research programs. Projects areas include, but are not limited to, the experimental validation of candidate pathogenic variants identified in undiagnosed rare disease patients as well as the generation of patient-derived cellular models for precision medicine applications.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, genetics, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting. Experience working with mammalian cell culture is required. Candidates that have hands-on experience working with stem cell models are highly encouraged to apply.

The Younger Lab is affiliated with the new Children's Mercy Research Institute at Children's Mercy Kansas City, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.
